Getting to the Point with Internal Communications

Being invited to present at ARK Group’s getting to the Point with Internal Communications Conference to deliver a workshop called the A new way of working the social intranet, has been a great pleasure this week.

The workshop was well received with comments like:

  • Practical and speaks to communications people not it gurus.
  • I will be taking back useful ideas to help me do my job better and with more influence
  • Best workshop I have attended
  •  Great interaction, Q & A & real case studies
  • Thank you for sharing your company information and knowledge
  • Rita was very generous with sharing her knowledge, very personable approachable and tailored her content to our existing knowledge situations.
  • Structure of a collaboratively built intranet – very helpful
  • Time spent on other organisations and real life examples.
  •  Overview of social networking platforms
  •  Learning how different tools link into each other
  • The interactive elements where we worked on our “problems” and potential solutions and Rita then gave us advice.
  • The possibilities I can see with using SharePoint 2010

Here is the framework presented and the slides are here on Slide Share

Mbug Lunch Launch

The MBug Lunch Launch went off with a BUZZ last week. With over 80 attendees, three great speakers and buzzing conversations.  The feedback was positive. From Invigorating to extremely useful to see what others are doing with the same set of tools to fantastic examples.
